GLVBX ("we", "us") is an app and website run by HBC Construction Projects Pty Ltd in Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, where it's kept and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash by our login provider).
- Your profile: the name you choose, and your competition licence type and expiry date if you add them. We don't ask for or store licence numbers.
- Your cars and records: car details, spec sheets, mods and services, costs, events and times, reminders, and any photos and documents you upload (for example invoices, dyno sheets and engineering certificates).
- Waitlist details: if you join the waitlist, your email, name (optional) and the type of motorsport you do.
- Usage statistics: which screens and features are used (for example "logged an event" or "exported a build sheet"), linked to an account ID, your device type and app version. Never your cars, regos, documents or contact details. You can turn this off in the app under Settings.
- Subscription status: whether you have Pit Pass and until when. Payment itself is handled by Apple or Google.
- Technical information: basic information our hosting providers log automatically, such as IP address and device type, to keep the service secure and working.
Why we use it
- To provide the app: storing your records, showing your garage, sending reminders and making your build sheet.
- To contact you about your account, and, if you joined the waitlist, about GLVBX's launch. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
Where it's stored and who processes it
- Supabase stores your account, records, photos and documents in its Sydney, Australia region.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Apple and Google process app store downloads and any subscription payments under their own privacy policies. We never see your card details.
- RevenueCat (USA) manages subscription status between Apple, Google and GLVBX, using an account ID and purchase records.
- PostHog (USA) receives the usage statistics described above, if you leave them switched on.
- Anthropic (USA) will read invoice and dyno sheet photos if you choose to use the scan feature once it launches. We'll ask for your permission in the app before the first scan. The photo is sent only to read it, and isn't used to train their models.
Reminders are scheduled on your own phone. Your photos and documents are private to your account, and to anyone you choose to share a car with, and are only reachable through short-lived secure links.
Sharing your build sheet
The build sheet PDF covers the car only. It doesn't include your name or contact details. You choose who you send it to.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, your account, cars, records, photos and documents are deleted. A photo or document you delete in the app is removed from storage within about a week. Backups held by our providers are overwritten within their normal cycles. Waitlist details are deleted when you ask, or when the waitlist is no longer needed.
Your choices
- Access and correction: view and edit everything in the app. Settings > Export my data downloads a copy of your records.
- Deletion: Settings > Delete my account deletes your account and everything in it. See how to delete your account.
- Notifications: turn reminders on or off in your phone's settings.
Children
GLVBX is meant for people aged 16 and over. If you're under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian's permission.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to your own account by database rules, and files are stored privately. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
